Federal officials have arrested two men who they say broke into two North Carolina gun shops.

Local media outlets report Grant Harrell and Lydell Newsome, both of Ahoskie, were charged on Monday with possession of stolen firearms and selling stolen firearms. They’re both being held in the Hertford County jail without bond, and it’s not known if they have attorneys.

ATF says the men are accused specifically of breaking into gun shops in Jamesville and Ahoskie last month. Court documents say the two men cut holes in the metal siding of both gun shops and shattered display cases to get the guns. The court documents also say Harrell and Newsome sold some of the stolen firearms.

The ATF says others were involved in the break-ins and more arrests are expected.
