BURLINGTON, Iowa (AP) - Authorities have identified a woman who was found inside a burning duplex in southeast Iowa.

The fire was reported around 6:15 a.m. Sunday in Burlington. Authorities say firefighters who found the woman took her outside, but she died despite attempts to resuscitate her. Authorities identified her as 27-year-old Tiffany Owens. Autopsy results have not been released.

Burlington Fire Marshal Mark Crooks says Owens she had lived in one unit of the duplex with her daughter, who was not home when the fire broke out.
