HIGHLAND SPRINGS, Va. (AP) - Authorities say a woman was fatally struck by a falling tree limb while getting out of her car.
Richmond-Time-Dispatch (https://bit.ly/2pW1Syq) reports that the limb also smashed into the roof of her on Friday in Henrico County. The woman was transported to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Henrico police Lt. Anthony Mehfoud says the woman is in her 40s, however, he will not release her name until her family members are notified.
