Police: Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run in Oakland Park

OAKLAND PARK, Fla. (AP) - Authorities are searching for a suspect after a fatal hit-and-run in Oakland Park.

The Sun Sentinel reports (https://bit.ly/2ppVJrk) 28-year-old Kinna Collander was fatally struck while crossing the street on Friday. Collander was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Broward Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Joy Oglesby says the vehicle might have some damage to its front bumper, hood and windshield.
