BELCOURT, N.D. (AP) - A gifted young woman from the Turtle Mountain Indian Reservation who finished high school at age 16 will soon graduate from Harvard University.

Twenty-year-old McKayla Gourneau will leave Harvard later this month with a degree in molecular and cellular biology. Gourneau has her sights set on getting a master’s degree in education and in public health and applying to medical school.

WDAY-TV (https://bit.ly/2qJaAAM ) says she’ll be the commencement speaker at her old high school, Turtle Mountain, on May 28.
