WILSON, Kan. (AP) - Authorities are investigating a blaze that destroyed an abandoned mill in central Kansas.

The Salina Journal (https://bit.ly/2pXEVJm ) reports that the fire started sometime before 2:15 p.m. Sunday in Wilson. Ellsworth County Emergency Management director Keith Haberer says it was mostly extinguished by about 6 p.m.

Haberer says an inspector with the Kansas Fire Marshal’s Office is looking into the cause of the blaze.

The structure once was used to mill flour, and then was used as a grain elevator.
