GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) - A former high school teacher in Glendale accused of having a sexual relationship with a female student in 2011 has pleaded guilty in the case.
Maricopa County Superior Court officials say Allen Scott Johnson pleaded guilty Friday to sexual conduct with a minor and two counts of attempt to commit sexual conduct with a minor.
He’s scheduled to be sentenced on June 6.
Glendale police arrested Johnson last September on suspicion of three counts of sexual conduct with a minor.
The 54-year-old Johnson was employed by Cactus High School from January 2010 through December 2012.
Police say Johnson allegedly had a sexual relationship with a then 17-year-old student between January and July of 2011.
