MACON, Ga. (AP) - Two Georgia men have been indicted on multiple charges in connection with the shooting death of a man outside a Macon nightclub.
The Telegraph reports (https://bit.ly/2qunzpO ) 27-year-old Benjamin Jermone Murphy Jr. and 33-year-old Quentin McCorey Jackson were charged Tuesday with malice murder, aggravated assault possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and felony murder in the death of 34-year-old Darian Brewster in August 2016.
Jackson was arrested in South Carolina a month after the shooting and has remained in custody. He’s charged with an additional count of felony murder, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and two counts of violating the Georgia Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act, according to the indictment. Murphy was arrested hours after the indictment.
It’s unclear if they have lawyers.
