CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - A 1-year-old boy has died after being found in a creek in North Carolina.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police told local media outlets that officers were called to a home shortly after 5 p.m. Wednesday.
The boy was found unresponsive in a creek behind the home. He was taken to Carolinas Medical Center where he died.
The boy’s name has not been released.
Police are still investigating how the child ended up in the creek.
