TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - The Tucson Unified School District is offering free meals to kids during the summer break.

Kids ages 2 to 18 years old can eat for free through July 21 at some schools and off-school sites. Accompanying adults can eat breakfast for $2 and lunch for $3. Kids don’t have to be enrolled in a summer program to qualify.

District officials say the summer meal program is the largest in Arizona, feeding thousands of kids while they’re not in school.

TUSD provided over 190,000 meals at 58 schools and partner sites last year.
