CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - Authorities say a man is dead following a domestic disturbance and standoff in northeast Wyoming.

The incident occurred on Memorial Day in Crook County.

KTWO radio in Casper reports (bit.ly/2qBbvA9) that authorities have not released the name and age of the man.



According to a news release from the Crook County Sheriff’s Office, the incident began 3 a.m. Monday as a domestic disturbance involving a physical attack and the discharge of a firearm.

A female victim escaped a residence and the man barricaded himself inside the home.

The man later committed suicide.

No further details have been released and the incident remains under investigation.
