NEW YORK (AP) - Police say a woman has died and three others are injured after a two-car crash in New York City.

The New York Police Department says 48-year-old Wazeda Banu was riding in the passenger seat of a 2009 Nissan when a 2012 Scion sport utility vehicle T-boned the car early Monday morning on 164th Street in Queens.

Banu was taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead. Officials say the driver of the Nissan and another passenger were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the 36-year-old driver of the Scion also was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The crash is still under investigation.
