ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) - Police in Rochester say they’re investigating two separate shootings that have left four young people hospitalized with gunshot wounds.
Officials say a 16-year-old boy, a 23-year-old man and a man in his late teens or early 20s were all shot in the upper body around 10 p.m. Monday on Norton Street. All three victims have been taken to Strong Memorial Hospital.
Information on their condition hasn’t been released.
The second shooting occurred around 11:30 p.m. on a street about a mile from the earlier gunfire. Police say a 21-year-old was wounded inside a home on Wilkins Street. He was being treated at Strong for a minor wound to his upper body.
No arrests have been reported in either shooting.
