BOISE, Idaho (AP) - A fire investigator has determined improperly disposed cigarette butts caused a Boise apartment complex to catch fire.
Six families have been displaced by the fire, which happened Monday morning.
Boise Fire spokeswoman Char Jackson says the butts had been put out near a wicker chair and some other flammable materials.
The complex has 73 units. The fire caused the electrical panel to malfunction in six of the units.
Nobody had been injured in the fire.
