Lanes of I-40 near Kingman reopened after vehicle fire

KINGMAN, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say a vehicle fire blocked the eastbound lanes of Interstate 40 near Kingman for nearly an hour.

Arizona Department of Transportation officials say the lanes reopened around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Details on the vehicle fire weren’t immediately released, but ADOT officials say I-40’s westbound lanes were not affected.

The interstate is one of the main routes for Phoenix drivers to get to Las Vegas.
