SONOITA, Ariz. (AP) - Traffic restrictions have been lifted on a southern Arizona highway with the completion of repairs to damage from a recent wildfire.
The state Department of Transportation says crews replaced signs and repaired about two miles (3.2 kilometers) of guardrails and supporting posts on State Route 83 between Interstate 10 and Sonoita.
SR 83 was closed for three days last week because of the fire.
The fire started 10 miles (16 kilometers) southeast of Green Valley and then burned eastward across the Santa Rita Mountains.
