NEW YORK (AP) - Authorities say a man was struck and killed while walking along a New York City roadway.

Police responded to the Cross Bronx Expressway around 2:30 a.m. Sunday and found the man’s body. Authorities said it was unknown how many cars had actually hit him, but none remained at the site. He was pronounced dead at the scene and no identification has been released.
