ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan has a new gig for Memorial Day weekend.
The Republican governor will serve as honorary starter and wave the green flag Sunday at the NASCAR Coca-Cola 600 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway in North Carolina.
Also on hand will be the race’s grand marshal, actor Channing Tatum. He’s the star of a new movie called “Logan Lucky” that’s set at the track.
