EL MONTE, Calif. (AP) - A small plane has crashed near a small airport in Southern California, but the three people inside came away with only minor injuries.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department says the Cessna plane crashed into a wash that runs alongside El Monte Airport on Friday night.
El Monte police say three people were treated for minor injuries.
