SEA BRIGHT, N.J. (AP) - A restaurant that was destroyed by Superstorm Sandy in 2012 has reopened just in time for Memorial Day weekend.

Donovan’s Reef, which has been around since the 1970s, was destroyed by the storm that hit the New Jersey shore hard in October 2012. News 12 reports (https://bit.ly/2qlIMzd ) the only thing left was the Sea Bright restaurant’s tiki bar.

Crews have been hard at work since the storm, and the restaurant is expected to reopen on Saturday.

Other than that, co-owner Michael Carducci says little has changed other than the building being brand new.
