PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - The Providence Emergency Management Agency is testing the Emergency Siren Warning System at the Port of Providence.
The tests are scheduled for Monday and Tuesday at noon.
City officials say people in surrounding communities may be able to hear the sirens.
The alert will be followed by a message explaining that it’s a test of the emergency management public warning system.
