JOHNSTON, R.I. (AP) - Police are hoping that surveillance cameras at nearby stores captured video of a car that hit and killed a Rhode Island woman before driving off.

Johnston police said Tuesday the 63-year-old Deborah Saritelli was hit shortly before 9 p.m. Monday. She was taken to a hospital where she died.

Police say they are searching for a black sedan with heavy front end damage. An accident reconstruction team is looking for surveillance video that might provide more details about the car.
