BERGENFIELD, N.J. (AP) - There may have been some crying over spilled milk in New Jersey as an accident left a roadway closed while it was covered in 160 gallons of milk.

Wednesday’s spill left dozens of milk crates and empty jugs strewn about a Bergenfield road along with a thin white sheen from the spilled milk. Fire and public works crews were called to clean up the road.

Police say the driver of the grocery delivery truck, which had a door accidently open in transit that pushed the milk crates out, was not ticketed for the spill.
