KEANSBURG, N.J. (AP) - Two people were injured in a house fire in Keansburg.

Sunday’s blaze that sent Joseph Besner and Kimberly Deliman to the hospital with burns and smoke inhalation also rendered the family’s home uninhabitable for their two children and a family pet. The children, ages 9 and 15, were unharmed and staying with other family members.

The Asbury Park Press reports (https://on.app.com/2rgGxgn ) firefighters have the fire under control in an hour. Police say the house sustained extensive fire, smoke and water damage on the second floor and attic area and is currently uninhabitable.
