Wait, is that “Sean Spicer” tooling around Manhattan’s Columbus Circle in a tricked-out … podium?!

Actress and comedian Melissa McCarthy, who will guest host the May 13 “Saturday Night Live” program and who has appeared in character as the White House press secretary, was caught on camera doing just that Friday morning, Variety magazine reported.

“Numerous passersby caught video of McCarthy rolling down 58th Street outside the Time Warner Center in the motorized podium that has been used in her previous Spicer sketches,” Variety explained.

Saturday marks Ms. McCarthy’s fifth time hosting NBC’s long-running late-night comedy program, according to SNL Wikia.

This will also be SNL’s third outing being broadcast live across all U.S. time zones. Typically the program is broadcast live on the East Coast but aired pre-taped elsewhere.
