SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (AP) - One man has been taken to the hospital after a shooting outside a Springfield gas station.

Police say they responded to the Mobil station on Main Street at about 2:30 a.m. Thursday where they found the victim suffering from a single gunshot wound.

An officer provided treatment at the scene until an ambulance arrived to bring the man to Baystate Medical Center.



His name was not made public and his condition was not available.

There was no immediate word on motive or arrests.
