FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (AP) - A man has been killed in an accident at a North Carolina plant.
The Fayetteville Observer reported (https://bit.ly/2pzfU64) that 34-year-old Joseph Kemper of Fayetteville died late Monday morning in an accident at the Coca-Cola Bottling Plant.
The North Carolina Department of Labor said Kemper was caught between a lift gate and a trailer and suffered a head injury. Emergency personnel were not able to revive him.
The labor department is investigating. The agency said death investigations typically take three to four months.
