LELAND, N.C. (AP) - A North Carolina man has been arrested on charges accusing him of abusing and stealing from his grandmother.
The StarNews reports (https://bit.ly/2qQVbP9) that 24-year-old Edward Conner Gore Jr. of Leland is charged with three counts of larceny of a firearm, five counts of possession of a firearm by a felon, and a count each of neglecting a disabled/elder resulting in serious injury, obtaining property by false pretenses and first-degree trespassing.
Arrest warrants states Gore stole three firearms from his grandmother in April, and failed to provide medical and hygienic care to her, as her caretaker.
Gore previously pleaded guilty to felony larceny in 2013.
He was jailed on $1.25 million bond. It’s unclear if he has a lawyer.
