YORK, Pa. (AP) - A central Pennsylvania woman who pleaded guilty to conspiring with her boyfriend in the stabbing death of his ex-girlfriend has been sentenced to 12½ to 25 years in prison.

Twenty-one-year-old Natasha Stover was sentenced last week in York County after pleading guilty earlier to conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, obstructing the administration of law and conspiracy to obstruct the administration of law.

Prosecutors said Stover helped 23-year-old Marcus Bordelon plan the April 2015 murder of 21-year-old Samantha Young and helped him move Young’s car away from his Wrightsville home after the slaying. Her body was found in a locked shed behind the home.

Stover briefly apologized and asked forgiveness from the victim’s family. Her attorney sought a five- to 10-year term, arguing that his client had been abused by Bordelon.
