MAGNOLIA, Del. (AP) - A Magnolia man has been charged with setting two fires that caused hundreds of dollars in damage.

The News Journal reports (https://delonline.us/2m4pUla ) that 58-year-old Francis Barbier has been charged with arson, burglary and resisting arrest.

The state fire marshal’s office says Barbier got into an argument Wednesday with a homeowner and set his house on fire. Firefighters were able to quickly contain the blaze, which caused roughly $250 in damages. Officials say that Barbier has also been linked to a Dec. 16 car fire on the same block that caused about $500 in damages.

Barbier was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution after he failed to post $50,000 cash bail.
