WOODVILLE, Texas (AP) - An East Texas judge has set a $250,000 bond for a man facing capital murder charges for a fatal weekend fire in Tyler County.
State District Judge Delinda Gibbs-Walker ordered the bond Thursday for 37-year-old Bruce Lee Chance. Chance was arrested without incident in a traffic stop near Woodville. Authorities say his last known address is Orange, in far Southeast Texas.
One person was killed in the fire Sunday evening near Dam B, about 50 miles north of Beaumont. The victim has not been identified.
Tyler County Sheriff Bryan Weatherford says deputies are looking for other suspects in the case that remains under investigation.
