APACHE JUNCTION, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities have identified a 79-year-old man who died following a house fire in Apache Junction.

Pinal County Sheriff’s officials say the victim of the blaze early Wednesday was Jimmy Marshall.

They say a woman was able to make it out of the home but firefighters were unable to rescue Marshall.

The name of the woman and her connection to the victim wasn’t immediately released.

Sheriff’s officials say the fire seems to be accidental and it may have been caused by a combination of smoking and a personally owned oxygen tank.

They say the investigation is ongoing and the Apache Junction Fire Department will make the final determination on the cause of the fire.
