WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - A Jewish community center in Delaware was briefly evacuated after receiving an emailed bomb threat, one day after similar threats were reported at Jewish centers across the country.

New Castle County police said the Siegel Jewish Community Center in Talleyville reported the threat shortly after opening Wednesday.

The center was evacuated while police conducted a search, which turned up nothing.

Federal officials have been investigating more than 120 threats against Jewish organizations in around the country since early January.

On Wednesday, the JCC Association of North America sent a letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions, expressing frustration about the situation and insisting that the federal government use all available resources to identify and prosecute the perpetrators.
