1 killed, 2 hurt in head-on crash near Logan

BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) - Authorities say a woman was killed and two other people were injured in a head-on crash east of Logan.

The Bozeman Daily Chronicle reports (https://goo.gl/Pi88OC ) 38-year-old Nicole Anne Pierce, of Manhattan, died at the scene after an SUV and a car crashed into each other on a frontage road east of the town Tuesday morning. The names and ages of the people who were injured have not been released.

Montana Highway Patrol Sgt. Patrick McLaughlin says one vehicle may have been passing another when it crashed into a third vehicle.

Investigators did not say what vehicle Pierce was in.
