McALESTER, Okla. (AP) - The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a Texas man has been killed in a single-vehicle crash in southeastern Oklahoma.

The OHP says 69-year-old Patrick Beattie of Springtown, Texas, died in the accident Sunday afternoon on U.S. Highway 69 about four miles north of McAlester.

A police report says Beattie was southbound when his vehicle went off the highway and struck a concrete barrier.

The report says the weather was clear and the road was dry at the time of the crash.
