NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. (AP) - The Latest on a fatal crash in North Las Vegas (all times local):

12:05 p.m.

North Las Vegas police say the 22-year-old driver of a SUV that struck and killed two pedestrians on a sidewalk early Saturday morning remained on the scene and hasn’t been arrested.



Police say their investigation continues but that alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash which a man and a woman were killed.

The victim’s identities were not released.

The crash occurred near Las Vegas Boulevard and Pecos Road.

North Las Vegas police say a crash has killed two people.

Police say the victims were a man and woman struck by a SUV that hit the victims on a sidewalk early Saturday morning on Pecos Road near Las Vegas Boulevard.

A photo posted by police on Twitter showed a SUV with damage on the front end and its front wheels on the sidewalk. A utility pole was leaning over the vehicle.

No additional information was immediately available.
