Small plane make emergency landing on South Florida highway

WESTON, Fla. (AP) - Officials say a small plane had to make an emergency landing on a South Florida highway.

The Miami Herald (https://goo.gl/FiimNu ) reports that aircraft landed Wednesday evening on Interstate 75 near the edge of the Everglades in Broward County.

Florida Highway Patrol says no one was injured, and no cars were damaged.

Authorities didn’t immediately release the cause of the emergency landing.
