HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) - The Coast Guard says the Racine Lock and Dam on the Ohio River near Huntington has reopened to vessel traffic after a barge breakaway.

No injuries or spills were reported.

Officials say a tug was pushing the barges, which are loaded with more than 3.7 million gallon of natural gas condensate, when it hit the lock wall around 5:30 a.m. Thursday. The barges broke away and the lock and dam was closed.

The Coast Guard said in a release Friday that a barge contained in the lock has been removed. Two others barges and a tug vessel remain pinned against gates of the dam.

The Coast Guard says a crew is at the scene investigating.
