Nursing home evacuated because of broken sprinkler

QUAKERTOWN, Pa. (AP) - Authorities evacuated 110 residents from a Bucks County nursing home because of a malfunctioning sprinkler system.

WPVI-TV (https://6abc.cm/2nzzzEm ) reports it happened around 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Independence Nursing Home in Quakertown.

Many of the residents needed wheelchairs or canes to get out of the nursing home.

No one was injured.
