POTSDAM, N.Y. (AP) - Fire crews are trying to determine what caused a blaze to start inside an apartment building on a northern New York college campus, displacing more than a dozen students.
Officials at Clarkson University in Potsdam posted social media alerts around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday reporting a fire in a four-unit apartment building in the Riverside Apartments. Officials say 13 students were displaced. No injuries were reported.
Displaced students were provided temporary housing.
Residents of the five other apartment buildings in the complex were allowed back in late Tuesday night after fire crews deemed it was safe to return.
