HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) - Authorities say a car rear-ended a disabled vehicle on Interstate 195 in Hamilton Township, killing the driver of the disabled car.
New Jersey state police Sgt. Jeff Flynn said that three others were hurt in the crash around 5 a.m. Wednesday.
He says the first vehicle was stuck in the left lane of the westbound side of the highway just after the Route 130 exit after a prior crash.
Another car then struck that disabled vehicle, killing the male driver. The driver of the second car suffered moderate injuries and was transported to the hospital.
Two other passengers in the disabled car were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The westbound lanes of the highway were closed until around 8:30 a.m.
