BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - Police in Buffalo are investigating the death of a man whose body was found inside a fire-damaged vacant home that was being torn down.
Officials say crews made the discovery Thursday afternoon while demolishing a house on Hirschbeck Street that had been heavily damaged in a fire on March 17.
The man appeared to have been in his 50s.
Officials are working to identify the man. The cause of his man’s death is under investigation, pending an autopsy by the Erie County medical examiner’s office.
