Man found dead after house fire

ZUBER, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say a man is dead following a north Florida house fire.

The Ocala Star-Banner (https://goo.gl/ShjWa6 ) reports that Marion County Fire Rescue responded to the Zuber home Wednesday afternoon, and half of the building was already burning.

Firefighters found the body of 61-year-old James Conrad while searching the home.

Investigators believe the fire started in the carport and spread into the house, but the state Fire Marshal’s Office and the sheriff’s office are still investigating.
