DES LACS, N.D. (AP) - People in the Des Lacs-Burlington school district will decide next month whether to spend $15 million to improve school buildings in the two communities near Minot.

An April 25 election is scheduled on a proposal to increase property taxes to generate money to renovate the high school in Des Lacs and the elementary school in Burlington.

Superintendent Clarke Ranum tells the Minot Daily News (https://bit.ly/2nrwNS5 ) that more space is needed in both facilities. A new gym also would be built at the high school.
