GRAYSON, Ky. (AP) - Kentucky State Police say one person has died in a house fire in northeastern Kentucky.
Positive identification hasn’t been made, but police said the victim is believed to be a 91-year-old woman.
The fire happened early Thursday in Grayson in Carter County.
Police said a family member responded after the homeowner called seeking help because a couch was on fire. But police said the family member was unable to help due to the fire.
The fire remains under investigation.
