BOHEMIA, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities say a collision between an ambulance and an SUV on Long Island left four people hurt.
Newsday reports (https://nwsdy.li/2mLV9CJ ) the crash happened on Sunday evening in Bohemia.
Police say a private ambulance collided with an SUV that was on a service road of state Route 27, known as Sunrise Highway. The SUV flipped and struck a sedan.
Police say the occupants of the SUV and the ambulance were hospitalized with injuries that are not considered to be life-threatening.
The crashed ambulance didn’t have any patients on board at the time.
