DESTIN, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say 11 people were injured when a Florida Panhandle condo’s second-floor balcony collapsed.

An Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office news release says the wooden balcony failed Wednesday afternoon at Sandpiper Cove Condominiums in Destin. Authorities say two of the people suffered significant injuries, though none of them appeared to be life-threatening.

Officials didn’t immediately identify the victims but said they were seasonal residents from Indiana and Kentucky.
