LOS ANGELES (AP) - Authorities say a motorist was arrested after leading officers on a car chase at speeds topping 100 mph that ended when he crashed into several parked vehicles.
The California Highway Patrol says the pursuit early Thursday ran along Interstate 5 and State Route 118 before ending with a violent collision on surface streets in Northridge.
Officials didn’t immediately say what prompted the pursuit. The suspect will be evaluated for possible drunken driving.
