DURHAM, N.H. (AP) - Young women interested in pursuing a career in technology are gathering at conferences in Durham and Manchester this week.

High school freshmen and sophomores will attend workshops led by educators and industry leaders from Autodesk, Hypertherm, the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard and others.

Up to 800 students will attend events on STEM programming on Thursday at the University of New Hampshire and Friday at Manchester Community College.
