COLCHESTER, Vt. (AP) - Police have identified a 19-year-old motorcyclist who died after colliding with a vehicle in Colchester.

Officers were called to the scene around 4 p.m. Monday and found Adam-Michael Ploof, of Colchester, facedown in the roadway. Efforts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful.

Police say the vehicle was headed northbound when the motorcycle crossed into its lane after turning onto the road. They don’t believe alcohol or impairment was a factor in the crash.
